Playful Interaction for Draggable Elements

A little playful interaction idea where we add some bounciness to a draggable element and animate it depending on its position. We wanted to create a playful dragging interaction that will morph and animate an element depending on its position. If dropped before the bounds we will snap the element back with an elastic effect. We also add some bounciness to inner elements so that everything gets an even more organic feel.

Dip Your Toes into User Experience with a Full-day UX Workshop

On Monday July 20, we’re running another of our popular Introduction to UX Design workshops at Nest Coworking in Melbourne.

Speak to anyone in the services industry and they’ll tell you that UX skills are in hot demand. Whether you’re directly responsible for creating a product or only peripherally involved, you can’t afford to not understand the fundamentals of how user-centred design results in creating products that people love using, rather than ones they hate.

In this intensive full-day UX workshop, you’ll complete nine practical, fun activities. Throughout the day, you’ll:

  • learn what User Experience (UX) is, and its importance in the design of products and services
  • understand what a UX process looks like, and the principles behind user-centred design.
  • gain exposure to a range of UX techniques, such as creating personas, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes, as well as conducting contextual enquiry and user testing sessions.
  • practice applying some of these techniques to the design of a product or service.

We’re very proud of the feedback we’ve had on this workshop. Here are some choice quotes from former students:

“…along with all your reading materials and the great resource of your site has been invaluable in learning the ropes on UX.”

Read more about our workshops on our training page.

Have a question about whether this workshop is right for you? Shoot us an email and we’ll get back to you right away.
