With AI technology breaking barriers at a speed that most of us are still fascinated by, a new survey is highlighting how brilliant the technology is at confusing people.
ToolTester’s new report speaks about how writers should be on alert because tools like ChatGPT and others in the field of AI are producing content as well as normal humans. And it’s being done at a level where the average American adult has trouble distinguishing AI content from others.
We’re sure that’s not the type of feedback any professional writer would want to hear, considering the great amount of effort they put forward in perfecting their craft.
ToolTester recently carried out two different surveys that took into consideration text generated by humans and those produced by AI tools and edited by humans. And not to many people’s surprise, it was the ChatGPT technology’s 3.5 that was used to get the task done.
After that, another survey was done by taking the latest generation of ChatGPT into consideration. Again, a similar comparison was made, making use of similar prompts. And that’s when we saw more than 50% of the respondents thinking ChatGPT’s 3.5 copy had been generated by the likes of a human. This number was 63.5% and it made use of GPT-4. These results proved how GPT-4 technology at much more likely to convince or trick people than 3.5.
The study also proved how copies generated from the likes of AI technology are so much more difficult to detect, depending on the format of writing involved. A lot of the content related to health did the best to trick people across the board and it appeared as if humans had written them.
This just goes to show how so many people believed that text from AI was actually written by humans, even though that was not the case. Meanwhile, those people who are more familiar with the use of AI tools are definitely less likely to turn into a fool. They end up being misled on most occasions. And those that never use such generative AI tools found it even harder to see the difference between AI content and that produced by humans.
With age, you attain wisdom and that again is worth a notice. People who were above the age of 65 are the ones most likely to identify AI content from human writing. Meanwhile, those between 18 and 24 are likely to feel AI writing is produced by humans.
It does come down to trusting more content publishers against others too. Today, a lot of people have faith that leading media content outlets are going to have articles produced by humans and so many aren’t keen on abusing that. So yes, trust does go a long way here as well.

Instagram Expands Its API Access So Talent Agencies Can Reach Out To Creators On The App Easiliy
Instagram is on a mission to assist its leading influencers and content creators so they can get the best opportunities in the market today.
The company says it wants to give talent agencies easier ways to reach out to the best talent on the platform and for that, they’re providing some bigger and better ways to combine data from their Creator Marketplace.
For starters, they’re adding more API access so the respective companies can reach out easily via DMs and some requests for projects.
As could be seen through such examples, this type of integration would enable making contacts with some influencer marketing individuals simpler and in a direct manner. This is all thanks to management platforms that are currently in existence as compared to going through classic processes where you see the Creator Marketplace.
This kind of API access gives third-party platforms the chance to attain DM functionality as well as the likelihood to share important aspects like briefs for projects while streamlining the whole connection process.
The platform is currently testing this new kind of API update with a small number of content creators in the marketing world and that entails Aspire, CreatorIQ, and Captiv8. The app hopes to expand access to these kinds of Creator Marketplace types of API soon as a means of providing benefits to the creator community.
Additionally, the app is also busy testing access to the Creator Marketplace so different brand agencies would find it easier to manage the whole Creator discovery. Similarly, it would add ease to take advantage of collaborations by brand clients.
Instagram put up a new display example that showed how such processes enable a business to approve access for agencies to better organize the creator marketplace endeavors. Furthermore, this allows for managers from third parties to begin various influencer campaigns.
Instagram adds how such releases will enable agencies to search for the best talent out there today so brands can benefit. At the same time, it allows creators to make use of better filters and the latest metrics so search capabilities are carried out through business accounts.
This would allow users to send out more messages toward the creators’ partnership folder where they may see messages and help in generating responses through the app.
Lastly, it would offer the chance for bigger and better work opportunities with creators and allow them to monitor how well they happen to be doing. Brands can generate layouts or more structured briefs for specific creators. And in this way, agencies could also put out discoverable projects so creators may apply and better track the progress of work.
This is definitely a new way of working and management on behalf of third parties who could really enhance connection and partnership opportunities with creators of their choice.
And if you happen to be an operator working on a smaller scale, you can make use of Instagram’s Creator Marketplace to search for the right people to attend to your campaigns.

Generative AI Could Soon Be Coming To Twitter As Elon Musk Invests Millions In AI Options
The world of generative AI has taken over the tech world and it appears that Elon Musk has no plans of leaving Twitter behind.
The tech billionaire could soon be on his way to instilling the technology in the popular microblogging website as he is now seen investing millions in various AI options.
But it’s wouldn’t be wrong to call the move controversial, especially since the Twitter chief was a part of the first few to raise eyebrows and concerns about the dangers that AI development came with.
Thousands of GPUs are now being looked at so Twitter may begin the assembly of its own AI products which may serve as fierce competition to the makers of ChatGPT and OpenAI.
Thanks to a new report by Busienss Insider, we know that Musk’s plans involving AI at Twitter are going to revolve around a huge language model. The speculations arise as a source familiar with the ordeal commented on the subject.
They claim the LLM is another name given to AI trained across huge data sets to help them produce new and sophisticated content alone. As it is, Twitter has huge numbers of data that may be used to train such language models.
At the start, we saw OpenAI utilize data from Twitter to carry out training of its own GPT models. But then Twitter decided to remove access during the latter part of 2022. Now, Musk and his team of executives are looking at more options in which they’re designing an endeavor of their own. The goal is to use huge piles of data from Twitter’s library to power the app’s own AI-based models.
At the end of it all, the goal is to stay up to pace with the newest trends regarding such developments in the world of technology.
When you actually look at it, this is not such a mega surprise. In the past month, so many reports popped up about Elon Musk working hard to hire developers specializing in AI so he could design his own AI models. The news came amid huge concerns related to speech and topical restrictions regarding AI tools like ChatGPT.
Remember, it’s just a single example of how the tech billionaire sees this as a leading agenda toward a change in models which is why he is very keen to design his own tools.
This ties back to the bigger push linked to free speech. It provides a major platform for all kinds of viewpoints, no matter what the personal inclination could be toward a single political side. For so long, Elon Musk has worked hard to give an open platform so all can enjoy. So along such lines, we could soon be seeing the creation of new AI models.
Let’s not forget how Musk has had his own fair share of debates with the makers of ChatGPT. Remember, the tech billionaire was one of the first investors of the firm, right before it went about launching its AI tools for the consumer market. During the initial phase, it was Musk who donated a whopping $100 million to fuel the startup as a non-profit organization.
Musk has been very bold and blunt about how frustrated he feels after seeing the company soar to new heights and generate huge profits when it was beside the goal from the start.
Who knows, that might be the push that Musk needed to start his own line of AI tools that fit into the Twitter app impeccably. And if that does happen, it might be the best archrival to OpenAI.
But again, the thought of AI models being solely based on tweets is just mind-blowing, to say the least. It’s just toxic and would be a poor sight to witness.

Twitter Ceases To Be An Independent Company As Elon Musk Merges The Firm With X Corp
Twitter is no longer an independent legal firm as Elon Musk opts to merge the enterprise with X Corp.
The news comes after we saw the tech billionaire inform his workforce in the past month how they would be eligible to get shares in a new holding company called X Corporation. Musk is the brainchild behind this organization which he reportedly began to help him buy Twitter.
They were further told that Twitter would be worth a staggering $250 billion. But now, after a recent court filing was made public, we’ve got the latest on this front. The company has merged with this new organization and successfully managed to attain the goal of Musk. This had to do with taking Twitter Inc. out as a firm.
So now, there is no more Twitter and only X Corp. Musk opted to announce the breaking news with the release of a post that stated, ‘X’ and it’s as cryptic as it sounds, minutes after the merger broke.
For now, Elon Musk’s lawyer is yet to comment on the matter as Musk is keeping his lips sealed too. So we are not too sure what this means as some people are speculating that this is Musk’s next step to launching his much hyped-up ‘everything app’- which is a concept inspired by the famous WeChat application.
This app allows users to send out payments, text, shop, and more through a single platform. And if that is indeed the case, the maneuver is definitely going to give Musk his target of attaining $250 billion. But wait, it’s not that simple.
Experts feel that this new merger deal is a clear understanding of how serious the billionaire was in terms of folding all of his leading firms into a single entity called X. So under one roof, you’d have Twitter, SpaceX, Tesla, NeuraLink, and The Boring Company together.
For now, it’s just too tricky to predict what Elon Musk wishes to do next with the app. The news is something that follows one of the company’s most unserious months with Musk in charge of the popular microblogging site.
From replacing the app’s logo with a dog to getting into trouble for eliminating the w from the Twitter Headquarters signage, the list of bizarre and erratic behavior is plenty. Did we mention the sudden emergence of a poop emoji where Musk was trying to play with people’s emotions while getting rid of a beloved brand?
In the recent past, we’ve seen Musk talk about Twitter’s transformation and how he could allow it to become an app where everything was possible. The timeframe estimated was five years but as experts predict, regulators would certainly be stepping in and intervening before it got too late.
If Elon Musk does manage to stay at the top of his game and prevent regulators from coming in between, something might be possible and we could see an app worth a staggering $250 billion soon.

Twitter Fails To Disclose Political Ads Running Across Its Platform Despite Musk’s Pledge For Transparency
Ever since tech billionaire Elon Musk took over Twitter, he vowed to be 100% transparent across all of the app's endeavors.
But a recent report claims Twitter has failed completely in terms of disclosing political ads running across the website. And it's been going on since last month.
The news comes to us thanks to the media outlet Politico mentioning that there were at least three different fundraising tweets getting promoted on the app which never made their way to the app’s own data records. Moreover, it appears it went against the firm’s policies and raised questions about how honest the platform really was and how a lot could possibly go by as unreported.
These Tweets by the platform entailed politicians arising from several different parties including the accounts of important senators. Users were asked to donate to various fundraising campaigns and all of them were related to the label promoted in the feeds of Twitter users. They would reportedly fall under the category of the app’s political content policy which makes room for ads of this theme. It outlined a few different types of political content and tweets that provided financial support.
They did mention how the news would be publicly announced but it’s yet to be done and this type of deficiency in terms of disclosure means Twitter might not be revealing the truth behind a lot of its data which makes it hard to see what is really going on the platform.
It’s also hard to determine which groups are swaying voters before the elections in 2024. This is a clear lapse of transparency that prove how it falls short of providing the world with news about whose working their way to influence voters and who is not in the online world.
A lot of different social media firms have disclosed platforms that are imperfect while others are useful. Could this be a disclosure regime? Well, one non-profit watchdog group does not believe so.
As it is, there are actually not a lot of standards out there today that showcase how digital firms should really be disclosing such information to the public. Nevertheless, tech giants like Meta and even Google are maintaining public libraries of various political ads across differnet platforms.
Users must put out requests for data and Twitter has even added more steps to turn such advertising into something that’s more publicized for others to see. Moreover, the removal of such tweets from the firm’s public report makes it more difficult to see what sort of political influence the app really has.
During the start of 2023, we saw Twitter mention how it would resume this kind of political advertising, despite a ban on this in 2019. The ban was reversed after Musk’s takeover.
Twitter is already suffering from many advertisers taking a step back from the platform due to concerns linked to the safety of brands. But it still, put out a new Google Form across its webpage where so many members of the public may ask for information regarding political ads being published on the app.

Survey Reveals Workplace Hurdles for Individuals With Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
According to a recent survey, approximately two-thirds of workers with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) battle with their profession every day.
The study comprised over a thousand participants, all of whom identified as having this disease. They were questioned about their work affairs and how their disorder affected their productivity and job fulfillment.
The results revealed that eighty percent of them reported difficulties in finishing assignments and staying immersed at work. Additionally, approx. sixty percent of them complained about struggling with the time management, which is key skills required for success in the organization.
The study also discovered that only 47% of the individuals felt that their supervisors provided adequate accommodations for their illness, such as relaxed labor hours, additional recesses, or modified spaces. This absence of help can lead to advanced stress and frustration for employees with this disease which can further negatively impact their job performance.
The findings of this investigation highlight the need for supervisors to be more aware of the challenges faced by the people working under them and to provide the necessary accommodation and support to help them succeed in the workplace.
There are a variety of accommodations that they can give, such as allowing for relaxed work programs, providing sound-removing headphones, or cracking down chores into smaller, more manageable phases. Additionally, providing access to resources such as counseling or coaching can be beneficial for workers with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
They also need to understand that working people with these disorders have unique strengths that can be an asset in the workplace, such as creativity and the ability to think outside the box. With the correct support and accommodation, these individuals can be valuable contributors to their organization.
However, the burden should not solely be on employers to provide accommodations. Employees with this illness can also protective measures to manage their condition and improve their productivity, such as cracking down tasks into feasible stages, using visual support and reminders, or finding a work environment that is conducive to their needs.
Overall, the survey results shed light on the challenges faced by individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in organizations and the need for supervisors to deliver accommodations and support to help them succeed. By recognizing the unique strengths and challenges of employees with this disorder, employers can create a more inclusive and productive work environment for everyone.

Users Aren’t Happy With Meta Verified As It Forces Them To Match Legal Names With Display Names On Profiles
It was only recently that we were made aware of Meta’s paid verification system. And while many of us failed to give it much importance, we’ve seen people working hard to provide verification on social media apps.
But the fact that the company is forcing users to do it is really a whole different ballgame altogether.
A new report by media outlet TechCrunch is shedding light on how the company is forcing users to give legal names. And it is not shady as the purpose outlined is verification. But going one step ahead and forcing them to use that only as their display name for others to see on their profiles is not being loved by so many out there.
Hence, those making use of names that are the exact opposite of the real ones need to be wary of the act as it won’t be allowed any longer. Hence, even those jetting out money for verification would be banned from the whole verified act.
Some users claim they’re okay with it because they’ve been using that since day one. But others are raising objections for clear reasons. After all, aren’t we well aware of the trolls in this world who work hard trying to figure out where a certain person lives?
Let’s take the example of an influencer who says Meta informed her about disapproving her verification based on the use of her current name. She needed to put the legal out there and she avoided that since day one due to major problems related to privacy.
Putting the name out there can be dangerous. Fans will go online to search for personal details like addresses, house records, and more. So many things are public records when purchasing homes using your real name.
The general opinion altogether is that tech giant Meta holds the right to see people’s legal names for the sake of verification. But no user should ever be forced to list that out in a public profile if they’re not willing to do it.
For now, Meta is feeling the heat from thousands of the app’s users. They feel the matter may be relaxed later on but for now, these are the regulations in place that need to be followed.
A spokesperson for the company mentioned how the ordeal is getting launched keeping in mind great security protocol as they’re well aware of the risks that come with it. Moreover, they hope to see an ease in the requirements soon and find a more secure solution that does not require people to have profile names that match the ones they own legally.
But for that, they’re not giving out any particular timeline so we’re stuck with this for now.
This was launched for both of Meta’s leading apps, Facebook and Instagram. There seems to be a lot of similarity between this and Twitter, which rolled out a paid form of verification a while back.
