Since its release, Bluesky has successfully managed to get 360K downloads from both Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store. Since the iOS version was released earlier, the App Store had the most downloads. However, it works only for those who have received an invitation from Bluesky users.

Once the invitation is accepted, users can see the similarities between Twitter and Bluesky. Not just the appearance, but even the features are quite similar, such as sharing media items, engaging with other people’s posts, and sharing them on a timeline. As compared to Bluesky’s 360K downloads, Mastodon was able to receive somewhere around 150K downloads in the same period of time.
