5. Tignes – In caso di MAG (Informational, Landing Page, Long-Form Journalism, Sport)
Striking One Pager taking us deep in French ski destination, Tignes. The long-scrolling site features subtle moving water ripples in the intro, slick parallax scrolling elements, an interactive product section and ends strong with a gorgeous big footer image of the downtown streets.
4. CodePen World’s Fair (Event, Launching Soon)
Lovely thin line illustrations in this One Pager announcing CodePen official World’s Fair event. Mad love for the extra effort creating 3 different versions of the design for the different resolutions (simply resize your browser to see them in action). I can only assume this was inspired by Lynn Fishers portfolio redesign that achieves the same effect.
3. Winter Workweek (Event)
Impressive One Pager designed by Dann Petty and built by Nick Jones for the latest Epicurrence installment at Yosemite dubbed the Winter Workweek. The super long scrolling site features a glitch effect with a snowfall overlay drawing lines between tech and nature – which is the heart of Epicurrence events. Neat touch with the subtle Parallax as you start to scroll, the Stop Snowing button and great to see a consistent header and footer, both on location and both semi-pixelated keeping consistent with the overall website theme.
2. Yay Brigade’s Favorite Albums (Music Related)
Really impressive One Pager by Yay Brigade curating their top albums of 2017. On first load the site stacks 10 tracks in vinyl shapes, each interactive and autoplays the songs. Lovely touch with the progress bar on the left side and also the list or stacked view switcher Cheers for the build notes!
1. Mort Modern (Landing Page)
Superb, colorful One Pager showcasing the wonderful Mort Modern typeface in all it’s 56 styles. The long-scrolling site has a unique feature where you can switch between the story of how Riley Cran was inspired by lettering artist Mortimer Leach, or experience the font with interactive sections.
