Snapchat is reportedly working on introducing a new feature for its premium subscribers on Snapchat Plus. This is called a 'Custom Story Expiration' feature.
The news comes to us thanks to avid social media expert and analyst Alessandro Paluzzi who mentioned the news on his Twitter status recently.
With this new feature up for grabs, users will be in charge of the duration that they’d like their Story Snaps to expire within. The range begins at one hour then is followed up by 6 hours, then 12 hours, then 2 days, 3 days, and then one week, right after it's published.
As the news slowly became viral, we could see how many people were excited about the launch. After all, it’s not fun to have a certain story expire too early without all of your close followers getting the chance to view it, right? Remember, a lot of hard work and effort goes into making content so it’s definitely going to be loved by digital creators we feel.
Some users feel this is an upcoming of customized timelines in the world of stories. And we couldn’t agree more! What do you think?
