WhatsApp's latest update: Enhancing user experience with pinned message durations

Recently, two noteworthy features were introduced: proxy settings and the ability to switch between tabs. These additions have made our messaging experience more convenient. In a previous update, WhatsApp introduced the ability to pin messages in chats and groups. This feature allows users to highlight a specific message at the top of a conversation. By pinning a message, users can ensure it remains visible as the rest of the conversation progresses, eliminating the need to repeat the same message multiple times.

Building upon this feature, WhatsApp's latest update, version 2.23.13.11, offers even more convenience. Users now have the ability to determine the duration for which a message stays pinned in a chat. For example, if a user wants a pinned message to remain visible for the next 24 hours, they can achieve this with just one click. After 24 hours, the message will automatically be unpinned. The company has further clarified that users have three duration options to choose from: 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. If a user wishes to unpin the message before the chosen duration expires, they can easily do so.

As for the release date of this feature, WhatsApp has yet to make an official announcement. However, the feature is currently in development and will be made available to beta users soon.
