Around 81% of Americans are willing to ignore any differences in beliefs to fix issues they deem important. 68% said that political issues are important to resolve because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up putting their country on the right path. 57% also agreed that social justice issues are important to focus on, and with all of that having been said and now out of the way it is important to note that the climate change and equal rights both got 53% apiece as well.
49% of Americans also said that they want to work with others to fix the economy, and this was the only issue out of the five that did not receive majority support with all things having been considered and taken into account. 60% of the people who responded to this survey stated that they became passionate about an issue because their friend told them about it. That suggests that being outspoken about issues can bring more people to one’s side than might have been the case otherwise.
41% of Americans stated that they feel like climate change is an issue that requires them working together. 40% said the same about more localized community issues, 39% agreed that diversity and social inclusion required collaboration, and 38% said the same about boosting the growth of local economies as well.
According to this survey, 45% of Americans believe that philanthropy is the way forward. However, the same number also cited healthcare as being a top priority that can fix things, and 43% said that education should take precedence over anything else right now.
